About Taking SunCam Video Courses
A
complete Video course includes the course Video plus a
companion online test. One DVD may be used by any number of people but
each
person who takes the course for continuing education credit will need
to purchase the test in order to access our online testing site. When
you purchase a
test you
will receive an email with a unique login link and instructions for
logging
on and completing the test. If you order fifteen or more tests, you
will
receive a FREE DVD and
the
email
will include
one unique login link for each quantity that you ordered. For all SunCam video courses, you may download and print a copy of the slides used by the course instructor and a worksheet copy of the course test. Download these here. When you logon to the test, you will be asked for your license number(s) in addition to your name, and email address. If you are a Florida engineer or contractor, the number that you enter will be used to instantly and automatically report your credits directly to the Board. Be certain to enter your license number(s) correctly because this will be your only chance to be properly credited for attending the course. Florida engineers and contractors are not allowed to “self-report” their credits. All other states require the licensee to report credits and do not allow providers to do the reporting. Use the same unique login link to restart the test at any time to resume just where you left-off. SPECIAL
NOTE: for Florida licensed contractors You
take the test while watching the video
(the questions are in the same order as they appear on the video). When
you've
finished you click the "Submit Test" button. If you achieve a passing
score, we award you 4-Professional Development Hours (PDHs) of
continuing
education credit. A Certificate of Completion is displayed on
the screen
but you don't need to print it because it will also be emailed to you
at the
email address that you supplied when you logged-in. In the
unlikely event
that you fail to answer 70% of the questions correctly, your login link
will be reset, allowing you to retake the test as often as
necessary,
at no additional cost. This is a very automated system but you are not doing business with a machine.
