SunCam is now licensing "SunCam-AutoTest", our proprietary automated testing facility, to course providers, educators and test administrators in all fields. This highly refined facility automates many of the tasks that you may be performing manually and provides you with useful information that you may not be getting with your current system.

Distribute the passwords to your students.

Everything else is done instantly and automatically by SunCam-AutoTest including testing, retesting, scoring, timing, issuing certificates, issuing test results to students, reporting to licensing entities, record keeping, and using Cloud Computing to create a record archive. You will be one of the few providers who are able to serve those last minute customers who wait until the license expiration deadline to complete their continuing education.

This service has been refined and tested for over 2-years as the exclusive testing facility for our own continuing education courses. During that time period we processed and instantly reported over 100,000 hours of continuing education credit to the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR). Automation has allowed us to boost our sales and profits every year while reducing our level of effort and increasing our level of service.

Your test site will display your company name and logo exclusively. Your students will never see any presence of SunCam on your testing site because our involvement will be entirely in the background.

Pricing

We charge a monthly hosting fee of $2.25 for each of your first 20 tests and $0.50 per test thereafter. The fee for processing the tests completed by your students is $0.99 per test for the first 500 successful completions per month and $0.25 per successful completion thereafter. If you allow retesting for unsuccessful students we will only charge you for processing the final successful tests. In addition to the monthly hosting and processing fees there is a onetime account setup fee of $155.00.

Pricing examples:

Small user - after the initial setup, if we host a single test for you and the test is taken 20 times per month, the monthly fee would be $22.05.
Medium user - after the initial setup, if we host 10 tests for you and tests are taken 200 times per month, the monthly fee would be $220.50.
Large user - after the initial setup, if we host 100 tests for you and tests are taken 2000 times per month, the monthly fee would be $955.00.

Features

SunCam creates your personalized testing site and then guides you through the simple process of adding your own individual tests.

You copy and paste the text of the test into the testing site "Admin" screen and upload a list of passwords and usernames in a plain text file. The passwords and usernames will be used to build the unique URLs that you will distribute to your students. (Don't worry, we'll show you how to do this and it is very easy.) The student will use the URLs to login and take their test.

If you allow students to retake the test when they fail, the URL will remain active until they pass the test. Once they pass the test the URL will be disabled to prevent further use.

The login page collects the student name, email address and their student or license numbers and any number of additional fields of information about the student that you want.

The test questions are radio button type multiple-choice. Fill-in the blank questions may also be used but are not recommended

Questions can be weighted if desired.

Questions can be selected randomly from a large list of questions in order to make each test unique.

The test can be clock controlled to enforce either minimum or maximum time constraints.

The submit button at the end of the test includes a statement with any wording that you choose such as; "By clicking the 'Submit test' button I certify that I am [Student Name] and I have personally completed this test without assistance."

If there are unanswered questions when the student clicks the submit button a warning message appears.

At your option, if the student fails the test, a message appears on screen and a results email is sent to you (but not the student) with score and all details of the failed test. The facility can be configured to allow unlimited retests or any number that you choose. You will not be charged a processing fee for retests

When the student passes the test a congratulations screen appears with:

An evaluation of the correct and incorrect answers and a detailed explanation for each question.

A button for downloading the Certificate of Completion.

A link to your web site or to your rating system to provide feedback about the experience.

An email is also sent to you and the student with the certificate and detailed results in file attachments.

The successful results are reported electronically directly into any reporting facility (i.e. the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation database, which responds to you with an email report that the results have been received).

The testing facility also sends you a "Results" email with all of the information that was entered at login plus detailed test results.

The testing facility maintains a searchable/editable/downloadable archive database with all details of every test and the data is backed-up daily to a Cloud Computing site.

If one of your students needs a new certificate you can send it with a mouse click and rereporting the credits is just as easy.

The testing facility generates a monthly statistical report that aggregates all answers to all questions and correlates each answer with the student score. This report is useful in identifying questions that may lack clarity or have hidden ambiguities.
