Follow-Up Review of: A Practical Review of Mechanics of Materials
This is a follow-up review of Course #432. It modifies my previous review. Both Tom Watson (author) and Bill Dunn (owner) promptly corrected typing errors in the test and the effect the corrections had on answers to the test. Their prompt correction of the problems created by the typos is VERY MUCH appreciated. ==== The derivations, examples and illustrations presented in the course are excellent. A lot of quality detail work was done to document this course. And it covers topics useful to a practicing engineer. Glad it was available through SunCam.com.

Liked the course and the review of the material. Did not rate course with a high rating because of problems I had with question 5 and question 18. Problems may be due to typing errors in quiz/worksheet. Q#5c: equation for M may be in error, numerator EI should be divided by "rho" instead of symbol for stress. ==== Q18: denominator in arcsin argument may be in error. Arcsin argument should be divided by symbol for deformation instead of symbol for stress. Missed both questions because equations in test/worksheet were different from equations found in text of course.
