This was a very informative and comprehensive course for introducing membrane technologies for desalination for both brackish and sea water treatment.

Absolute worse PE renewal course I have taken. He took an interesting applicable subject and made it boring and of little take away value. The author seemed more focused on showing how technical a facility is.

The references to sodium bisulfite on pages 12 and 13 I believe are meant to refer to hydrogen sulfide. My understanding is that sodium bisulfite is used as a pre-treatment chemical to reduce oxidants, i.e. free chlorine or dissolved oxygen.

Good intro course; interesting and informative. Typos and grammatical errors are distracting. Would like to see a more advanced second course.

Could use a better proof reader.
