John A Camara, a Professional Engineer (PE) in Nuclear and Electrical Engineering, is author of a dozen plus reference and practice problems books, as well as online material, used as study guides for the Electrical and Computer PE exams: Computer Engineering / Electronics, Controls, and Communications / Power. He has taught PE Refresher Courses at the University of Washington as an Extension Lecturer and a PE Licensing Review at Seattle University as well as for IEEE Chicago Chapter. He is a retired U.S. Navy Lieutenant Commander who served as both a nuclear trained Electrician’s Mate and as Chief Nuclear Engineer on submarines. He is also a retired Technical Fellow (TF) of The Boeing Company where he worked on projects from the Space Shuttle to Space Launch Systems (SLS)[Artemis], where he was recognized by NASA as a Space Flight Awareness Honoree. He received his Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering/Materials Science & Engineering (ECE/MSE) from the University of California at Davis and a Master of Science (MS) degree in Space Systems from the Florida Institute of Technology. He is a member of Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society and Mensa.
